I participated in the 2024 Data Center Summit Korea held at COEX in Seoul yesterday. I woke up at 6 AM, left home at 0730 , and attended various speeches and showcases by moving between Grand Ballroom halls 101 to 105 based on my interests, starting at 8:30 AM and finishing at 5:30 PM, before returning to my office in Euljiro. The theme of AI dominates both the hardware and software aspects of Data Centers. AI is a tsunami. The speed of data collection, processing, and transmission in current Data Centers combined with AI, as well as the processing capacity of GPUs, is increasing tenfold each year. Within ten years, AI will have absorbed all the knowledge and information on Earth. What happens after that? AI will begin to create knowledge and information, evolving in a leap beyond the civilization known to humanity, into a world beyond Earth's reach. Here are the forum speech topics I attended:
